Dragón Ball Af

Policy Lessons.

almost two years ago I decided to commit even more Telde. I had done from the standpoint of cultural and work and believed it was time to bring also from politics. I am convinced that "if you're not part of the solution, you are part of the problem" and was evening and early you decide.

Any new process has a way of learning, turns and goings, thoughts and decisions, choices and opportunities, failures and successes, recognition and sacrifice. It's life. Is only "way to go."

After a time of reflection, conversations with people around me, the first effort I had to do was combine the most possible approaches my life, my principles and values, my beliefs with a political organization that could furnished the necessary space to develop my concerns. And that place I found when I ran the project represented Telde Canarian Coalition. He had just been named a candidate for mayor and had renewed the local executive.

During the first week I received three calls. All acquaintances / friends of other political organizations. The first was from a friend who asked me directly "what ambition you Dani? What you put on the lists? ". I did not know then or what it was. (Excuse my innocence). My first lesson in politics is knowing that other factors alter the products. Is not the same "principles + values + value + luck + personal ambition" that "ambition + values + principles ...." Clearly not, simply because the first factor determines the rest. The second call was to thank my entry into politics, "although in another game," as it saw Telde "gained by my presence." These words were an important boost, knowing from which position they came. Second lesson: people with good political intentions, but intentions do not always are always essential. The third call was from someone who told me that if I repented "in his party always had an open door." Third lesson: in politics there are many people who love you not for what you are but what they fail to win. It was a week, the first, intense and full of emotions.

Then, with your brothers and sisters, began the joint construction of a project. And that certainly is a real learning! At this time, I have not stopped learning, to grow, to learn, to observe, to analyze. Right now I do not regret the decision, but rather the opposite.

Despite some sadness. The first and most painful is to uncover how they are used and attacked a project being led by people "young." I have always believed that young people are more than a fill of a cushion where your back some support. Undoubtedly believe otherwise would be to alter the order of factors my principles: I am a teacher, educator, Salesian and have always participated in youth associations. What should be one of the most cherished values of society: education and youth in Telde many consider a liability and is used as an argument to ridicule, and what they do is to stand with their opinions in a position that no agree at all, and surely, many people either.

The second sorrow (and disappointed) to discover that "anything goes" and that it matters little for the common good or the future. Mediocrity has been installed. And with them mercenaries. And if you lie to lie, and whether to cry is shouted. Life is like that. Well the only consolation we have is that if it were not for these, there would be fighters.

But in the end, the biggest learning has been the discovery that if you could pick up an acronym, a political force (which is) very strong and repeatedly shaken, what remains are the people, with our faults and virtues, our failings and potential, our limitations and greatness, and the extent to which we know to be consistent with yourself and with what we believe, faithful to the depths of each, we reach what we want. And that is one of the glories of freedom: to choose which one people want to be. And I, I've done.

Reading Partners (4): Red and rotating. Column

Oh, my god, eons ago since I updated this section.
I have promised to give a little more rope, because I was beginning to catch dust.

Well, you see, as I read (no, I have not finished yet, because with so much consideration I have no time for NA-DA T ^ T) La Sombra del Viento by Carlos Ruiz Zafon, my partner is the new chair of the hall, which has barely a month in my house.
is red, is comfortable, is rotatable and is positioned just below a lamp. More perfect for reading impossible.
I leave you with these two, I'm going to study. Wish me luck * 3 *

Snoop Blue Rag Clothing

January Fierce Competition

Hello, bibliophiles! Then you see that I have time to lavish only here because the exams have already started and I do not let up.
Today I happened to miss a contest that ended yesterday. I received very few entries compared to others that have been organized in this blog, probably because the other two were only in this sweepstakes and you had to write a story and there are fewer people who encourage it, but good.
The winner, with a great and original story is ... Lorelay ! Lots of happiness, beautiful.
Here you his story:

Who's Afraid the big bad wolf That was the question that swarmed in my mind every day. Every morning they went into the forest several teenagers looking for something to have fun, and it seems that the wolf was the latest fashion, pellet guns, slingshots and everything that stood in the forest that will serve as a weapon. At that point I was hiding between two rocks, do not think he would find, but there was this dark boy who was not more than 13 years. Hailed as a warning to his companions, and soon appeared more expensive through the cracks. The first boy raised his slingshot and began throwing rocks while his friends encouraged him, soon all joined. After a few moments I found eternal went laughing and cheering. As he lay wounded on the ground someone picked her up, I tried to resist but I lost consciousness. When I awoke I discovered that I was in a cave and a human I was healing the wounds bleeding. At that moment I realized that not all humans were equal and that some are not afraid of big bad wolf, but will respect it.

Many thanks to the few who have participated!

See you when I can;)

PD: Lorelai, send your name and full postal address to iria-rinconmagico@hotmail.com to enable send the book.

Funny Things To Say Instead Of I Do At A Wedding

Ollos of Auga, Domingo Villar. Column

In Castilian, Ojos de Agua (available in Castilian);)
Inspector Leo Caldas is one of the most important police Vigo, well known for his wit, by radio waves Patrol in a police office where citizens call in and present their complaints.
This time, it's up Leo Caldas investigate the case of a saxophonist who is found dead in his apartment in the tower on the island of Toralla. Apparently there is no evidence, apparently all trace has been deleted, but slowly and his assistant Leo Caldas Rafael Estévez will pull one thread that has to try to discover who is behind it.

A novel I been fascinated by many things: first, the plot, the second, the intrigue, the third narrative, the fourth, the humor ... so I can continue with many more items. Starting
plot is carefully prepared and organized, very detail, to ensure that situations with no apparent gain importance later. It's a story that begins with many threads, with many loose ends, that the author finally tied with mastery and perfection. Actually, we have a complex plot that has been meticulously note worked to manage to be incredibly realistic and unexpected.
I have found a detail that I love, which is the division of chapters. Far from number or title, the author begins each chapter with the entry in the dictionary for a word to be mentioned in this chapter we started. I found it very original.
thing that has contributed greatly to my enjoyment of this novel is its setting. This novel takes place in the city of Vigo, which I know, I visit often and is very close to my city. I love that Leo Caldas Vigo and mention walk the streets, restaurants, squares and bars because it makes me feel much more immersed in the story.

This novel also has some fantastic and frequent touches of humor, sharp humor, intelligent and quite Galician made me die of laughter. Actually, is a nice "self" to the ambiguity of the Galician and his habit of answering questions with other questions. It's hilarious agent Rafael Estevez, assistant Leo Caldas, a resident of Vigo Zaragoza from just three months before the time when this story unfolds. He is a man who despairs that ambiguity Galician and with whom I've laughed with laughter clean.

- Sorry, Guzman apologized inspector. I lingered at the station until the last minute. Do you know Rafael Estevez? He asked, turning to his assistant.
- Once we have agreed to the station, confirmed the doctor.
- How is the inspection? Asked Rafael Estévez.
- is going.
- Ya-Estevez said. Then he added under his breath: "There is always so explicit.

All characters in this book give the impression of being people of flesh and bone. Domingo Villar was able to create characters and very different personalities and very realistic to make their characters on people you could meet any day in the street, with the difference that you know exactly what they are. Great care has the main characters, although I've had a little lack them to reveal more details about his past, allowing us to know them better. All the secondary characters are also very realistic, but here the author falls more in his mistake of giving little information about them, and most know more things than we should.
Of course, this detective story can not miss the intrigue. The question to resolve is open from the first until the last moment, the little details that lead to final resolution are fascinating, and all the characters, situations and revelations in between we are absolutely stunning, from first to last. All this forms a completely unpredictable and inseparably novel, suffice to say that the senses are not final until it is revealed in recent pages. Obviously, this great expectation contributes to a quick read and a very fast pace. The novel engages from the first page, but the more we approach the end we will be more difficult to release.

Domingo Villar recounts his work with ease and professionalism of a true veteran, fascinated by its complex plot, its charismatic characters and clever humor, which form a hilarious novel, intriguing and grabs the reader from beginning to end. His style as a writer may not be a huge language exquisite decors, but I am sure that neither you, nor need.

When Did Your Mom Put You Over Her Knee?

Top 10 of 2010.

Here you have the 10 best books I read in 2010. Not all have been published in 2010, but here are the ones I read this year.

1 - Vampire Academy, Richelle Mead. [...]
Vampire Academy is completely unpredictable. Richelle Mead, with its smooth, fluid writing, gets us into a world where no one and nothing is what it seems and where betrayal and revenge play a role. [...]
I quote myself in my review, you can read here .

2 - On Fire, by Suzanne Collins.
[...] In addition, Collins never, ever predictable. It's something I love about it surprises you in every chapter, every moment, with each betrayal, with every lie, however.
is perfect. [...]
my review, here.

3 - Shadow Hunters III, Crystal City , by Cassandra Clare. [...]
Clare has gone. If raised passions in the past, if we did beat, if we did cry, wonder, get hooked and fall in love in this do it again, but with three times the strength. It is impossible to drop
Crystal City without feeling a twinge of nostalgia. It is impossible to stop reading. It is impossible to sleep. [...]
This leaves my review, which is here.

4 - Laila Winter and the Curse of Ithiria , Barbara G. Rivero.
[...] It is entertaining, funny, original, fresh and innovative while dark, dangerous and deadly.
It just all in perspective, what makes us enjoy the book even more. [...]
my words in my review, this one here .

5 - Sinsajo , by Suzanne Collins. [...]
Sinsajo is cruel, it is hard is heartbreaking, bittersweet, sad, is touching, is striking.
guess is useless to extend this further.
I think I get to say I do not know if he was ready for this, so many strokes, so much destruction, so many tears. [...] Words
result of my review, it is this .

6 - If I decide to stay, Gayle Forman. [...]
Gayle Forman. A woman who has earned my deepest admiration for how he writes, by the gift that beauty has to fill every one of his words. Because it can write a touching story, sad, hard and deep that is at once happy, sweet, fresh and innovative.
can be everything at once, can be simple while complex, and in fact I still I have not very clear which of the two best defined this novel. [...]
reiterate that all this has left me of this review.

7 - Roses Without Thorns by Nora Roberts.
[...] And I will continue to idolize Nora: the originality of its history of girls who ride a wedding company, its characters over 10, their female warriors and independent, so that hooks, by a beautiful end to all letters and quite round, because in addition to mourn me made you laugh, for a constant fast pace. [...] This is
here in my review .

8 - Tara's Daughters, by Laura Gallego García.
[...] The book is a real beauty posed by the existence, identity and personality in a subtle, nothing boring, with large doses of sacarsmo, fun and action.
Again, his writing is the same as ever. Delicate, elegant, intelligent. Able to make you laugh and mourn, to move you, falling in love.
Because I cried, of course. This woman is almost impossible not to. [...]
This leaves my review, ie here.

9 - Laila Winter and The Lords of the Winds , Barbara G. Rivero. Barbara G.
[...] Rivero manages the helm of his story with skill and greater maturity and experience than its predecessor, with lyrics more beautiful, hilarious and soft, fit perfectly and make us enjoy even more of this story. [...]
This comes from the review to find here.

10 - If you do not wake up , Lauren Oliver. [...]
know who has written a beautiful book, sad, poignant, hard, cruel, thoughtful, intelligent, brilliant, devastating, complicated, funny and thought-provoking.
Because she does know. [...]
textual words of a servant here in book review, and as such, are not copied.

Eduardo Galeano: Policy proposal: the dream itself in politics. Blog

Can you imagine a manifesto of a political party to include these principles?
Are they left or right? "Progressive or conservative? National or independence?

Who would dare?

Who knows what the world beyond 2000. We have one certainty: if we are still there, then it will be people of the last century and, worse still, we people of the past millennium.

However, although we can not guess the world that will, we can well imagine that we want. The right to dream is not among the thirty human rights that the United Nations proclaimed the end of 1948. But if not for him, and giving water to drink, the other rights would die of thirst.

Deliremos, then, for a while.

The world is upside down, will get on their feet
in the streets, the cars will be trampled by dogs.
The air is clean of the poisons of the machines, and more pollution will not emanating from the human fears and human passions.
People will not be driven by the automobile, or programmed by computer, or be bought by the super-market, or be watched by the TV.

The TV will be the most important member of the family,
and will be treated like an iron or a washing machine.
