I Want Marry Filippino Lady From Uae

The Tribute, by Holly Black

Kaye lived with his mother and his grandmother in a village in New Jersey, where the magical creatures and spent time visiting with her, where everyone thought it was an eccentric because believed in fairies.
Until his mother decided to embark on the adventure. After years traveling the country with the rock band of his mother, without a fixed home, without going to school at age 14 and being forced to work to get money, Kaye returns to her grandmother's house because a sinister aggression against his mother and forced her to leave the group takes them there, the only place they can be accepted. Kaye is reunited with her magical friends children, and new ones not so kind. Discover many things about his past, will struggle, sacrifice and find out who is behind everything.

painted very good argument. But gradually the story falls apart. First, we feel confused, not know anything, things are explained to us, nothing makes sense. We will have to give many things for granted that Holly Black neglects to mention, and it will not just at first, if not throughout history. Does not explain many situations, it tells us why certain things happen, and jumps from one event to another without saying how you got there. This shakes
much to the plot itself, because history is hampered by the lack of a link between the events and understanding them.
This book has surprised me more than once with the solutions to certain situations, but in many others I was disappointed to be somewhat predictable, or even touching the ridiculous because it had not been realized what was happening so late, or because offered as a solution of complex transcendental something quite obvious.

- Do you know what I remember the sun? "Continued Kaye .[...] It seems like blood on the water .[...] And the moon is watching. Notice how the sun dies

In pace is up more than half, very slow. Does not engage at all and even becomes heavy, what you do not you find out many things that happen. Shortly After passing half, the pace becomes more agility (because we understand more things) and I can say that has come to hitching.
The characters earn more points, both the main and secondary have great power and have saved something that surprised. Perhaps only miss them more credibility.
As for love, is rather relegated to the background, which has been pretty good. In my opinion has given the right amount needed this story, and this time serves me credibility.
The end ... oh, the end. If we consider having a second part, too closed. If we ignore that it is, too many loose ends. If we do nothing and if we focus on the end in itself ... nice, although a tad hasty.

Holly Black has written this book in the most appropriate. It has been surreal in excess, has eaten a lot of things I should have mentioned, and, despite being a book with plenty of descriptions, explanations are almost free. In urban language has lacked elegance and hook. In fact, it is often believed, and nothing is further from the reality that the urban language should be neglected, and it is not. I think Holly has a lot to improve.
